Summary

CVE-2023-39202 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Zoom Rooms Client for Windows and Zoom VDI Client. This issue arises from an untrusted search path, which can enable a privileged user to execute a denial-of-service attack through local access. By manipulating the search path, an attacker can force the application to load a malicious library, causing the target system to crash or become unresponsive. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to organizations using these Zoom clients, particularly those with privileged users.
