Summary
CVE-2023-39196 is an authentication vulnerability found in Apache Ozone, a big data storage project. This issue enables unauthorized access to metadata within the Storage Container Manager service. The attacker cannot modify the data or gain access to user data, but they can view internal metadata. Affected versions are 1.2.0 to 1.3.0. To mitigate this, it is recommended to upgrade to version 1.4.0, which addresses the vulnerability.
