Summary
CVE-2023-39188 is a newly discovered vulnerability that impacts all versions of Solid Edge SE2023 below V223.0 Update 7. This issue is caused by an out-of-bounds read error while processing specially crafted DFT files. By manipulating these files, attackers can potentially read memory outside the allocated structure, gaining the ability to execute code in the context of the current process. This vulnerability poses a significant risk and requires affected users to apply the available patch as soon as possible.
