Summary

CVE-2023-39156 is a newly identified cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability that affects the Jenkins Bazaar Plugin version 1.22 and earlier. This issue permits unauthorized users to deceitfully trigger deletion of previously created Bazaar Source Control Management (SCM) tags. Successful exploitation of this CSRF vulnerability could result in serious data loss for affected Jenkins users. The Jenkins community has released an updated plugin version to mitigate this risk, and it is highly recommended that users upgrade to the latest version to prevent potential attacks.
