Summary
CVE-2023-39151 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Jenkins versions 2.415 and earlier, as well as LTS 2.401.2 and earlier. The issue stems from the Jenkins software failing to sanitize or properly encode URLs in build log hyperlinks. Attackers able to manipulate build log contents can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts, posing a significant security risk. This weakness could potentially allow unauthorized access, data theft, or other malicious activities.
