Summary

CVE-2023-39001 is a command injection vulnerability affecting OPNsense Community Edition versions before 23.7 and Business Edition versions before 23.4.2. The issue lies in the diag_backup.php component where a crafted backup configuration file can be exploited by attackers to inject and execute arbitrary commands. This vulnerability poses a serious security risk as it allows attackers to gain unauthorized system access and potentially cause significant damage.
