Summary

CVE-2023-38958 is a newly identified access control vulnerability affecting ZKTeco BioAccess IVS version 3.3.1. This issue permits unauthenticated attackers to manipulate door functions remotely by sending crafted web requests. Consequently, adversaries can arbitrarily close and open doors under the management of the platform, potentially compromising security and privacy. This vulnerability could lead to unauthorized entry or denial of access, posing significant risks to organizations and individuals relying on this system for access control.
