Summary

CVE-2023-38924 is a newly identified buffer overflow vulnerability that affects the Netgear DGN3500 router with firmware version 1.1.00.37. The issue is located in the setup.cgi file and can be exploited by sending maliciously crafted data to the http_password parameter. This vulnerability could potentially allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code and gain unauthorized access to the router's administrative interface.
