Summary

CVE-2023-38888 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Dolibarr ERP CRM versions 17.0.1 and below. An attacker can exploit this issue through the REST API module, specifically the functions analyzeVarsForSqlAndScriptsInjection and testSqlAndScriptInject. By injecting malicious scripts into input fields, the attacker can steal sensitive data and execute arbitrary code on the victim's browser.
