Summary

CVE-2023-38881 is a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting OS4ED's openSIS Classic Community Edition version 9.0. This issue allows remote attackers to inject malicious JavaScript code into the web browsers of users, by manipulating the 'calendar_id', 'school_date', 'month', or 'year' parameters in 'CalendarModal.php'. By successfully exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker can steal sensitive information, perform unauthorized actions, or even take control of the user's session. Users are advised to update their systems as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
