Summary

CVE-2023-38875 is a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the PHP-Login-System 2.0.1 developed by msaad1999. This issue enables remote attackers to inject malicious JavaScript code into the 'validator' parameter in the '/reset-password' page. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary code in the web browser of unsuspecting users. This poses a significant risk as it can lead to data theft, session hijacking, or other malicious activities. It is recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of the PHP-Login-System or implement appropriate XSS protections to mitigate this threat.
