Summary

CVE-2023-38823 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting various Tenda models, including Ac19 v.1.0, AC18, AC9 v.1.0, and AC6 v.2.0 and v.1.0. An attacker can exploit this flaw in the formSetCfm function located in bin/httpd to execute arbitrary code remotely. The vulnerability allows an attacker to send malicious input to the affected device, resulting in a buffer overflow and potentially leading to code injection and unauthorized access or system takeover. Tenda users are urged to apply the necessary patches to mitigate this risk.
