Summary

CVE-2023-38766 is a newly disclosed Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affects ChurchCRM version 5.0.0. An attacker can exploit this issue by injecting malicious code into the PersonView.php component, allowing them to execute arbitrary scripts in the context of an affected user. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access to user data, session hijacking, or even the complete takeover of an affected ChurchCRM instance.
