Summary

CVE-2023-38759 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the wger Project Workout Manager version 2.2.0a3. An attacker can exploit this issue by making unauthorized requests to the user-management feature, located in gym/views/gym.py, templates/gym/reset_user_password.html, templates/user/overview.html, core/views/user.py, and templates/user/preferences.html, and core/forms.py components. As a result, an attacker may gain privileges, potentially leading to unintended modifications or unauthorized access to user accounts. Users are advised to update their software to a patched version immediately to mitigate this risk.
