CVE-2023-38738 is a vulnerability affecting IBM OpenPages with Watson versions 8.3 and 9.0. When Native authentication is used, the security in an OpenPages environment may be weaker than expected. An attacker with access to the OpenPages database can exploit this weakness through a deliberate sequence of steps, potentially gaining unauthorized access to other OpenPages accounts.
