Summary

CVE-2023-38584 is a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability discovered in Weintek's cMT3000 HMI Web CGI device. The affected component is the command_wb.cgi file. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted input to the device, causing the buffer to overflow and allowing them to hijack control flow. This could potentially bypass login authentication, enabling unauthorized access to the system.
