Summary
CVE-2023-38541 is a vulnerability affecting some Intel HID Event Filter drivers for Windows 10 on certain Intel NUC laptop models. The issue lies in insecure inherited permissions, which could enable an authenticated user to potentially escalate their privileges through local access. This flaw may allow the user to gain elevated access to the system, increasing the risk of unauthorized actions and potential data breaches.
