Summary

CVE-2023-38531 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting multiple versions of Parasolid (V34.1, V35.0, V35.1), as well as various versions of Teamcenter Visualization (V14.1, V14.2, V14.3, V2312). The issue stems from an out-of-bounds read flaw in the handling of X_T files. This vulnerability enables an attacker to read data beyond the allocated structure, potentially gaining the ability to execute arbitrary code within the current process.
