Summary

CVE-2023-38412 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting the Netgear R6900P v1.3.3.154 router. This issue involves buffer overflows in the wla_ssid and wlg_ssid parameters found in the ia_ap_setting.cgi file. An attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities by sending specially crafted input to the router, potentially leading to denial-of-service conditions or even remote code execution.
