Summary
CVE-2023-38230 is a Use-After-Free vulnerability affecting Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 23.003.20244 and earlier, as well as 20.005.30467 and earlier. This issue enables an attacker to disclose sensitive memory by manipulating the software. By exploiting this vulnerability, an adversary can bypass Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) mitigations. Notably, the exploitation of this issue necessitates user interaction, meaning a victim must open a maliciously crafted file for the vulnerability to be triggered.
