Summary
CVE-2023-38201 is a vulnerability affecting the Keylime registrar. This issue permits an attacker to bypass the challenge-response protocol during agent registration, potentially allowing them to impersonate an agent. If a fake agent is added to the verifier list by a legitimate user, the attacker could hide the true status of a monitored machine, compromising the integrity of the registrar database. Consequently, unauthorized access and manipulation of registered agents may occur.
