Summary

CVE-2023-38191 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting SuperWebMailer version 9.00.0.01710. This issue enables cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks via the spamtest_external.php file, which can be exploited through a specially crafted filename. An attacker who successfully exploits this vulnerability can inject malicious scripts into a victim's browser, potentially leading to data theft, unauthorized access, or other malicious actions. It is strongly advised that users of SuperWebMailer upgrade to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
