Summary

CVE-2023-38147 is a critical vulnerability affecting Windows systems with Miracast Wireless Display enabled. This issue allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code remotely by sending specially crafted display packets to a vulnerable system. Successful exploitation could result in the installation of malware, unauthorized access, or data theft. Microsoft has released a security update to address this vulnerability, and it is highly recommended that affected systems be patched as soon as possible. Unpatched systems remain at risk of remote code execution attacks.
