CVE-2023-38126 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Softing edgeAggregator. The issue arises due to insufficient validation of user-supplied paths in the processing of backup zip files. This allows remote attackers to traverse directories and execute arbitrary code, gaining root privileges.
