Summary

CVE-2023-38072 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting multiple Siemens software products, including JT2Go (versions < V14.3.0.1), Teamcenter Visualization (versions < V13.3.0.12, V14.0, V14.1 < V14.1.0.11, V14.2 < V14.2.0.6, V14.3 < V14.3.0.1), Tecnomatix Plant Simulation (versions < V2201.0010, V2302 < V2302.0004). This issue is caused by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability during the processing of specially crafted WRL files. Successful exploitation allows attackers to execute code in the context of the current process.
