Summary

CVE-2023-38019 is a vulnerability affecting IBM SOAR QRadar Plugin App versions 1.0 to 5.0.3. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a maliciously crafted URL request containing "dot dot" sequences (/../). This allows the attacker to traverse directories on the system and potentially view arbitrary files, as identified by IBM X-Force with the ID 260575. This vulnerability poses a risk to system security, as unauthorized access to files can lead to data exposure or unintended system changes.
