Summary

CVE-2023-37994 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions 1.5.6 and below of the Artem Abramovich Art Decoration Shortcode plugin for WordPress. An attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious scripts into user-submitted content, which is then stored and served to other users. Successful exploitation could lead to the unintended execution of malicious code in users' browsers, potentially resulting in data theft, session hijacking, or other forms of unauthorized access. Users are strongly advised to update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
