Summary

CVE-2023-37986 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting version 1.1.3 of the miniOrange YourMembership Single Sign On – YM SSO Login plugin. An attacker can inject malicious scripts into the authentication page, which is accessible only to administrators. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the affected website, potentially leading to session hijacking, data theft, or other unauthorized actions. This vulnerability poses a serious risk to websites using the affected plugin and should be addressed promptly by updating to a patched version.
