Summary

CVE-2023-37828 is a newly discovered cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the General Solutions Steiner GmbH CASE 3 Taskmanagement software version 3.3. An attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting a malicious payload into the Tasktyp parameter, allowing the execution of arbitrary web scripts or HTML code in the context of the targeted user. Successful exploitation could lead to information disclosure, session hijacking, or even unauthorized system access, posing a significant risk to organizations using this software. It is strongly recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of CASE 3 Taskmanagement to mitigate this vulnerability.
