Summary

CVE-2023-37798 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Vanderbilt REDCap's new project creation function in version 13.1.35. This issue enables attackers to inject malicious scripts or HTML into the project title parameter, allowing them to execute arbitrary code on unsuspecting users' browsers. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to information disclosure, session hijacking, or unauthorized access to sensitive data.
