Summary

CVE-2023-37623 is a newly identified cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Netdisco network management tool before version 2.06300. The vulnerability is located in the /Web/TypeAhead.pm component, allowing an attacker to inject malicious scripts into a victim's web browser by manipulating the input field in a specially crafted web page. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access or data theft. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest version of Netdisco to mitigate this risk.
