Summary

CVE-2023-37565 is a code injection vulnerability affecting several ELECOM wireless LAN routers, including WRC-1167GHBK-S v1.03 and earlier, WRC-1167GEBK-S v1.03 and earlier, WRC-1167FEBK-S v1.04 and earlier, WRC-1167GHBK3-A v1.24 and earlier, and WRC-1167FEBK-A v1.18 and earlier. An authenticated attacker within the network can exploit this vulnerability by sending a carefully crafted request, allowing them to execute arbitrary code. This poses a significant risk, as successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or even complete takeover of the affected device.
