Summary

CVE-2023-37561 is a newly disclosed open redirect vulnerability affecting ELECOM wireless LAN routers and repeaters. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this weakness by crafting specially designed URLs, which when clicked by unsuspecting users, can redirect them to malicious websites. The affected products and versions include WRH-300WH-H v2.12 and earlier, WTC-300HWH v1.09 and earlier, WTC-C1167GC-B v1.17 and earlier, and WTC-C1167GC-W v1.17 and earlier. The consequences of this vulnerability can range from phishing attacks to identity theft or data breaches. Users are strongly advised to update their devices to mitigate this risk.
