Summary

CVE-2023-37497: The Unica application contains a vulnerability in its API that accepts arbitrary XML input. This issue allows authenticated attackers with specific rights to execute XML External Entity (XXE) attacks against the backend service by manipulating the XML data provided to the API. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unintended data disclosure or even arbitrary code execution. XML parsers within the application do not properly restrict XML entities, making this attack possible.
