Summary

CVE-2023-37484 is a vulnerability affecting SAP PowerDesigner version 16.7. During a login attempt, the software queries all password hashes from the backend database and compares them with the user-provided password. This process might expose password hashes in the client's memory, providing an attacker with an opportunity to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information. The vulnerability can potentially lead to data breaches and unauthorized system access. It is strongly recommended that users update to the latest versions of SAP PowerDesigner to mitigate this risk.
