Summary

CVE-2023-37415 represents an Improper Input Validation vulnerability found in the Apache Software Foundation's Apache Airflow Apache Hive Provider. This issue allows unauthenticated users to potentially inject malicious code through the proxy_user option, building upon an earlier vulnerability, CVE-2023-35797. Affecting versions of Apache Airflow Apache Hive Provider prior to 6.1.2, this vulnerability poses a serious security risk. To mitigate this issue, it is strongly advised to update the provider version to 6.1.2 as soon as possible.
