CVE-2023-37374

Summary

CVE-2023-37374 is a newly identified vulnerability that affects Tecnomatix Plant Simulation V2201 (all versions prior to V2201.0008) and Tecnomatix Plant Simulation V2302 (all versions prior to V2302.0002). This application contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability, which can be triggered when parsing specially crafted STP files. An attacker who successfully exploits this weakness could execute code in the context of the current process. The Zero Day Initiative (ZDI) has assigned the identifier ZDI-CAN-21054 to this vulnerability.
