Summary

CVE-2023-3731 is a high severity vulnerability affecting Google Chrome on ChromeOS versions prior to 115.0.5790.131. An attacker could exploit this use-after-free issue in the Diagnostics component of Chrome, which is triggered by installing a malicious extension. The vulnerability potentially allows heap corruption, enabling the attacker to gain unauthorized access or execute arbitrary code on the affected system.
