Summary

CVE-2023-37242 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the atcmdserver module. This issue allows an attacker to intercept and manipulate commands sent to the modem. The most serious consequence of this vulnerability is the potential to rewrite the Non-Volatile Random-Access Memory (NVRAM), altering crucial system configurations. Furthermore, this vulnerability may serve as a gateway for exploiting other system weaknesses.
