Summary

CVE-2023-37199 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting DCE (Distributed Computing Environment) systems. This Code Injection flaw (CWE-94) allows an attacker to execute remote code when an administrator restores corrupted backfiles. The vulnerability is triggered when an admin user unknowingly restores tainted backup files, putting the system at risk of arbitrary code execution.
