Summary
CVE-2023-36790 is an elevation of privilege vulnerability affecting Windows Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) Encoder Mirror Drivers. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows an attacker to gain higher privileges on the target system, potentially leading to unauthorized access and data theft. The vulnerability exists due to inadequate input validation in the RDP driver, enabling attackers to inject malicious code during the data transfer process.
