Summary

CVE-2023-36785 is a critical vulnerability affecting the Microsoft ODBC Driver for SQL Server. An attacker can exploit this Remote Code Execution (RCE) weakness to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable systems. Successful exploitation occurs when an attacker sends specially crafted data packets to the affected driver, allowing them to run malicious code with the privileges of the SQL Server service.
