Summary

CVE-2023-36748: A significant vulnerability has been discovered in multiple RUGGEDCOM device models, including ROX MX5000, ROX MX5000RE, ROX RX1400, ROX RX1500, ROX RX1501, ROX RX1510, ROX RX1511, ROX RX1512, ROX RX1524, ROX RX1536, and ROX RX5000. These devices are configured to support weak encryption ciphers by default, potentially exposing data to man-in-the-middle attacks. An unauthorized attacker in such a position can intercept and manipulate transmitted data, posing a serious security risk. Update these devices to version V2.16.0 or higher to mitigate this vulnerability.
