Summary

CVE-2023-36703 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) Server services. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending specially crafted packets to trigger a denial of service condition. The vulnerability lies in the way the DHCP Server handles certain DHCP messages, leading to an unexpected termination of the service. This can result in network disruptions and impact the availability of devices relying on the DHCP Server for IP address assignments.
