CVE-2023-36693 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting versions 1.1 and below of Alain Gonzalez's WP RSS Images plugin for WordPress. A successful attack could trick a user into executing unintended actions on a targeted website, potentially leading to data theft or unauthorized changes. An attacker could craft a malicious request that, when executed by the user, would cause the plugin to perform actions on behalf of the attacker, bypassing the user's authentication and authorization.
