Summary

CVE-2023-36647: This vulnerability affects ProLion CryptoSpike 3.0.15P2, where a hard-coded cryptographic private key is used to sign JSON Web Tokens (JWT) in authentication. An attacker can exploit this issue by crafting malicious JWT tokens to impersonate arbitrary users and gain unauthorized access to web management and REST API endpoints. Successful exploitation may lead to unintended actions, data disclosure, or system compromise. Users are strongly urged to update to the latest version of ProLion CryptoSpike to mitigate this risk.
