Summary

CVE-2023-36591 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ). An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending maliciously crafted MSMQ messages to a target system, resulting in the execution of arbitrary code. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to gain the same user rights as the MSMQ service account, potentially leading to serious security implications. Microsoft recommends applying the available patch to mitigate this risk.
