Summary

CVE-2023-36577 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting the Microsoft Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) OLE DB provider for SQL Server. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted SQL queries to a target system, potentially gaining the ability to execute arbitrary code with administrative privileges.
