Summary

CVE-2023-36571 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ). An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted message to an MSMQ queue, resulting in arbitrary code execution on the MSMQ server. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to gain control over the affected system, potentially leading to data theft or unauthorized system access. It is recommended that affected organizations apply the Microsoft Security bulletin MS23-036 to mitigate this risk.
