Summary

CVE-2023-36435 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Microsoft's QUIC implementation. This issue permits denial-of-service attacks through specially crafted QUIC packets. An attacker can send these packets to a target server, causing it to consume significant resources and potentially leading to a denial-of-service condition. The vulnerability can be exploited remotely and requires no user interaction. Microsoft has released a patch to address this issue, and administrators are strongly encouraged to apply it as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
